Tell me about your Hero and I'll tell you who you are.

During this session we had lots of discussion, search and creative work to find out who can be a hero for the contemporary teenagers. So, here is the list of our heroes:

• Yanush Korchak 
• Filip Konowal    
• Peter Dmytruk  
• Ivan Dacenko   
• Vasyl Poruk      

All these people have showed great courage and heroism during the World War I and World War II. We do not consider them heroes because they were just great fighters - they had been born in Ukraine but became heroes by saving people's life in many countries. Thie unusual life teaches us never give up and always remember not just abiut ourselves but think about those around us.

May be somebody not well introdused to our history will think that we adore fighters - well, download and watch the film made up of real photos taken in past and present Ukraine - it can explain the state of things better then words. (the English version of it is still being created and will be published on this page some time later). 

And another heroes for us are brothers Klichko, who showed great results in boxing due to their gifts - and the devoted training work, too.
