Culture Conservation: projects exchange

Page history last edited by Oxana Krailo 10 years, 11 months ago

Any nation is rich in its traditions. And to preserve them by conservation via all the existing ways is important, too. As we are taking part in an IEARN Learning Circles session of MY City and Me project this page is devoted to the project works created by our partners from Belarus, Ukraine, Russia and Morocco. We believe this cultural exchane will help understanding and tolerance building.

Here are some Power Point presentations devoted to this topic from the group of the 5th and 6th form pupils from Luchynets school, Ukraine. The first one is about the clothes worn in our place: Culture Conservation.pptx

And by solving the quize you would be able to learn more about householding in a Ukrainian village in old times: Culture Conservation quize.ppt. There is a slideshow of our excursion to the school etnic museum - download and watch - it doesn't contain any viruses! culture.exe

And!!!

Completely new and fresh - watch the videos of songs sang by the Ukrainian participants of the project on the page  Song - the soul of the nation

And these are the works by our friends from Morocco - teacher Ibitissam Touchima and her great and creative class. Watch the pictures taken from their files and download the documents to learn more.

Presentation with general  informatioin about Morocco and its people: 7353_OXANA.ppt

PDF files with a brilliant folk tale : 9245_SATAN.pdf and food traditions description: 9246_FOOD+AND+MOOD+FROM+MOROCCO+TO+ENGLAND.pdf

And these are the phtos from Belarus - they look like taken from the museum but show nice examples of rural life in this country. And you'll find more information in their presentation - just download from: 9468_tradition_1.ppt

GREAT THANK YOU, NATALIYA KULAKOVICH AND YOUR BRILLIANT SRUDENTS!

This is one more project work - now it is from Olga Prokhorenko, Moskow, Russia.

See how the past and present are presented in old and modern photos and art works:

  11104_TODAY.pptx

Besides, there is one more project work - from Lisovi Sorochyntsi, Ukraine:

download from   School_Museum_Lisovi _Sorochyntsi.pptx    Project_Work_Grandparents.ppt

We'd like to say great THANK YOU to all our partners. Your researches helped to discover great cultural diversity of our people, feel the difference - but learn the common feature: all peoples are united by the very simple thing - the wish to live in peace and happiness.

So we wish all of you good life and good luck.

Thank you very much!

And this is a number of people who joined this topic from the 5th of May, 2013:
